St Helens College is a large further education college in the borough of St Helens, Merseyside in the North West of England. It is a well established training provider.

The college provides further and higher education programmes. It boasts excellent existing facilities which will be further supported by the completion of a £60 million project to redevelop the Town Centre Campus in 2011.

History

St Helens College has been established for over 100 years and is one of the largest providers of further education in the country. The college offers more than 700 different courses at all levels from foundation to post-graduate study.

The School of Management (Nnw the College of Management and Business Technology) was established in 1964 as the North West’s Management Centre and continues to be recognised as one of the leading centres of management education in the region.

Role in the NSAFS

St Helens became an approved training provider of the National Skills Academy for Financial Services (NSAFS) in December 2008.
There is an increasing demand within the Merseyside area to start or pursue a career within the financial services industry.

St Helens College offers qualifications and extensive training programmes with identifiable routes of progression to accommodate these needs from entry level to Level seven qualifications.
