The Link portal

The Link portal has been created to meet the needs of our key user groups. These groups are:

The portal is more than simply a ‘knowledge bank’. There are many different features to explore and information about the financial services industry. For those not familiar with the financial services sector, we aim to improve knowledge of the industry and encourage visitors to use the portal while also encouraging others who may want a quick update on what’s new.

We also want to create a social network between all our learners so that with a simple click you instantly become part of our network.

The Link portal provides support to three groups.

Employers will be able to use the portal to access online training and development through a variety of different mediums and media. The portal will also provide access to the navigator tool which is a process for identifying skills needs in financial services businesses.

Learners benefit from the portal by accessing the knowledge bank on the financial services industry as an aid to their learning. Learners will also benefit from online training and development resources. The social network facility allows NSAFS learners to communicate with each other.

NSAFS training providers can use the portal to further understand the training and development needs of the financial services industry through the knowledge transfer element. There is also a social network for training provider members so that training providers can share new knowledge.
