Leadership and management programme

The National Skills Academy for Financial Services (NSAFS) has developed an innovative, flexible and interactive leadership and management programme to enable people working in the industry to develop their skills and to positively contribute to Treating Customers Fairly (TCF).

Employees undertaking the programme will either be practising as or aspiring to be a first line manager or will be in a position of responsibility for other staff.

By taking the NSAFS leadership and management programme with the Skills Academy, employees are guaranteed a flexible, comprehensive and bespoke package that could be completed within 3 to 6 months.
Programme outline
The programme is made up of online modules that are fully interactive.
- Module 1: Managing Customer Service (incorporating TCF)
- Module 2: People Motivation
- Module 3: Performance Measurement
- Module 4: Problem Solving
- Module 5: Decision Making
Optional modules
Our programmes are designed to work for you. With that in mind we have developed additional modules that can be incorporated into your own specific programme.
These are:
- Module 6: Communication
- Module 7: Planning Change
- Module 8: Managing Change
- Module 9: Building the Team
Cost
We believe that the leadership and management programme works best when delivered to a group of 12 employees. Therefore, for a group of 12 employees, the cost is £655 per employee. Other group sizes can be priced on application.
Optional modules can be added to a programme at a cost of £75 per option per employee.
Funding
The NSAFS can currently access funding for this programme through the European Social Fund (ESF). This funding is specifically for employees within small and medium-sized financial services companies in London.
