The National Skills Academy for Financial Services (NSAFS) brings substantial business benefits to the financial services industry by being a one-stop shop for employers that provides independent advice and practical solutions to their training and development needs.
The NSAFS’ regional team delivers an independent business consultancy service for industry employers across the subsectors, from small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to multinational companies, to identify skills needs within their business and staff and source the most relevant business solution.
They can advise on:
- technical qualifications
- modern Apprenticeship programmes
- soft skills programmes such as leadership and management qualifications where skill gaps are identified
The Regional Directors can also advise employers on how their businesses may benefit from public funding to support training.
NSAFS training will create better skilled, more motivated and more productive employees that will generate a real and tangible return on investment for employers. Increased staff motivation will in turn increase retention rates.
To provide a structural process to determine a roadmap of employer needs, the NSAFS has developed a specialist Navigator approach. This helps the business consultancy process by providing a professional report that identifies business needs.
