Sue Ramsey is the Regional Director for the National Skills Academy for Financial Services (NSAFS) in Yorkshire and Humber.

Sue has dedicated the whole of her career to the development of skills in the workplace. Her former roles include Learning Manager at Abbey where her team was responsible for identifying, designing and delivering learning programmes for employees across the business.

In her most recent role as UK Learning Development Manager for National Australia Bank Group, her successes included the implementation of Apprenticeships and the development of a skills and qualification curriculum. A major part of her role involved working closely with a wide variety of major stakeholders in the industry as well as devising innovative approaches to skills development.

She has a real passion for facilitating development in others and generating improved performance through learning.

Originally from Dewsbury, Sue now lives with her two teenage sons in Ossett and plays an active part in community life, being both a school governor and education trustee.
