City of Bristol College has been operating for more than 10 years, following several mergers of Bristol colleges. Students for financial services courses come from the large industry base that is situated in Bristol including banks, insurance companies, building societies and brokers.
The college is one of only four colleges in the South West to be awarded the new Training Quality Standard in May 2008.
City of Bristol College has also gained Centre of Vocational Excellence (CoVE) status in three areas including management. It has also:

City of Bristol College is the National Skills Academy for Financial Services lead training provider partner in South West England.
Courses aimed at the financial services sector can be delivered in company offices or at college sites.
City of Bristol College is building on its years of experience by working with many local employers in the financial services sector. It is currently:
