The charitable purposes of the Skills Academy are as follows:
Skills & Accreditations
For the public benefit, to advance the education of individuals who are working in the financial services sector in the UK and to advance standards of excellence in the sector, in particular but not exclusively by (a) the provision of skills training and accreditations, (b) the promotion of standards of compliance required by the sector, (c) the promotion of diversity in the sector, (d) consultation with participating employers and relevant skills bodies to set policy, strategy and oversee implementation of the provision of education and training as required by the sector.
For the public benefit, to advance inclusion, to provide education, and to relieve unemployment of public individuals who are currently out of work in the UK, focusing on those who may be considered part of a disadvantaged group or community, and who, in particular but not exclusively, wish to work in the financial services sector, by providing employability skills training.
For the public benefit, to advance inclusion, provide education, and to prevent or relieve the poverty of individuals in the UK, focusing on those who may be considered part of a disadvantaged group or community, by providing financial capability training and resources.
