Established in 2007, the National Skills Academy for Financial Services is a leading employer-led charity working with the UK Financial Services Industry.
The mission of the Skills Academy is:
- To help people, particularly from disadvantaged communities, to secure employment in the financial services sector.
- To contribute to the improvement of the diversity of the workforce in the financial services sector.
- To support skills development in the financial services sector.
- To improve the financial capability of the wider UK population.

Skills & Accreditations – Helping to advance the education of individuals who are working in the financial services sector in the UK, and promoting diversity and standards of excellence in the sector.
Employability – Supporting people into employment in financial services through employability programmes and apprenticeship initiatives, specifically targeting individuals from disadvantaged backgrounds and those who have been underrepresented in the sector.
Financial Education – Improving the financial education of the UK population, in particular focusing on delivering programmes to help individuals living in the most deprived communities.
