Skills Solutions is the largest work-based learning provider in Greater Manchester, with an established sector team, delivering professional qualifications to the financial services industry, eg, Investment Administration qualifications and Certificate in Insurance.

Skills Solutions covers a wide range of occupational areas including financial services incorporating insurance and banking. Other relevant sectors include management, L&D, ICT, accounts, customer service and business administration.

Skill Solutions Training Centre and head office is based in Manchester City Centre, providing easy access for learners. Our excellent training facilities offer a structured teaching approach, appropriate to the needs of professional and vocational training. The added flexibility of work based assessment and observations and delivery enhance our ability to provide quality training provision.

Employers

With a strong employer base, Skills Solutions can deliver high quality tailor made, vocational education and training, fully or part funded programmes as well as commercial training to suit employer needs to both young people and adults within the financial services sector.

Our strength in the financial services sector is in the insurance sector with a successful proven achievement record of 20 per cent higher than national average in Certificate of Insurance. We are also one of the first training providers in Manchester to become accredited to the Financial Services Sector Skills Council for Training Excellence, awarded in November 2006.
