To complement Kaplan Financial's provision and reputation within the Accountancy Sector, we shall now be offering training for three qualifications that provide alternative progression routes for employees within the Financial Services sector. These qualifications are:

Securities and Investment Institute Level 3 – Introduction to Investment Award

The ‘Introduction to Investment Award’ is a qualification that meets the needs of individuals associated with the Finance and Investment industry. The award is suitable for all roles and provides an overview of all areas of investment for individuals wanting to gain a general understanding of the Financial Services industry.

The qualification is ideal for those people newly recruited to the industry as an integral part of their induction programme. The award is also suitable for individuals moving into the financial industry or those who are not in traditional investment roles.

The Institute of Financial Services Level 3 – Certificate in Mortgage Advice and Practice (CeMAP)

This qualification provides candidates with knowledge and understanding of the Financial Services industry and environment. It will develop candidates’ knowledge and understanding of all aspects of the mortgage process, which covers application to post completion. The role of mortgage products is also a key element of this qualification.

The qualification is mandatory for anybody providing mortgage advice and it has been developed with the co-operation of the Council of Mortgage Lenders.

The Institute of Financial Services Level 3 – Certificate for Financial Advisers (CeFA)

This qualification reflects the commercial aspects of the financial services market and the requirements of the Financial Services Authority and the Financial Services Skills Council.

The CeFA qualification is necessary if an employee works as a financial adviser, providing advice on investments, retirement planning and protection.
