Through his BTEC National Diploma Dilwar spent six weeks' work experience with the Royal Bank of Scotland.
'I’ve always wanted to work in the financial sector, especially as an accountant. Taking this National Diploma has given me a real head start. It’s also given me a first hand look at what it's like to work in a bank and this has made my ambition even stronger. On my placement, I worked in Corporate Banking Services which focuses on recruiting clients for the bank.'
After college, Dilwar is heading for Greenwich University to study accounting and he’d like to join the Royal Bank of Scotland on a permanent basis.
