When Nilay Samir Singh started the Introduction to Investment course he had no idea that his record exam grade would steer him into teaching.
Nilay was awarded the Citigroup Award from the Securities and Investment Institute for achieving the highest mark of any student in a further education college in the Introduction to Investment course.
'I knew I had the qualities and the qualifications but needed some career guidance in terms of matching my qualities to what employers are looking for. Following advice and guidance from Employment Solutions at the College, I changed my CV completely and made it more marketable. I got immediate responses from my new look CV.'
Nilay is now working with the financial company Digital Look and will also be contributing to the teaching of future Securities and Investment courses at Tower Hamlets College.
